Confessions of a Piano Teacher

When I was 14 I started babysitting for my mum's friend. My mum thought that taking care of children first hand would be a great source of birth control and she was right. 

I somehow went from babysitting to tutor to private music teacher and 

I've been teaching now for over 6 years! 

This blog is meant for me to write about the hilarious things my students say, my thoughts on play-based education & improvisation and to vent the trials that come with trying to grow my own private studio.

My name is Olivia and I sing, teach and play out of and around Toronto. I am working to finish my BMUS and hoping to continue on to a MEd.
